Our first-ever tournament organized & led by Youth Board Members. 9-hole scramble pairing juniors (ages 8–12) with high school mentors. Trophies, welcome snack bags & post-round dinner.
Weekly 9-hole junior group round (ages 8–12). Andrew Cho volunteered as on-course junior mentor — teaching golf rules, etiquette, sportsmanship, and basic technique. 5 volunteer hours (2:00 PM – 7:00 PM).
All board members met to plan the November Youth Tournament. Three teams assigned: Course & Budget (Rachel Hu & Riley), Roster & Rules (Nathan, Andrew & Andy), Prizes & Media (Rachel Kim, Sophia & Brandon). Focus: Purpose, Leadership & Event Operations.
18-hole Team Fourball charity tournament with 16 participants. Youth Board President Sophia Jeong and Board Member Nathan Sok volunteered for event operations and support (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 8 volunteer hours each).
